Recipes to have a fun cocktail night in, with the girls

rubyrandall20

Lots of my friends are starting to turn 18 so this is one is for them x

I have been working behind a bar for almost 2 years now and wanted to share some fun, easy cocktail (or mocktail) recipes with you, that you can make at home for a fun girl’s night in. All recipes are portioned for by the glass and were chosen because they require almost all the same alcohol and no cocktail shakers.

Most recipes have sugar syrup in them, which is very easy to make. Fill a cup ¾ of the way with sugar, boil the kettle and then splash a couple drops of boiling water into the sugar and stir it until it comes a watery yet sticky consistency.

Recipe number 1 – Mojitos:

Pour 60ml of white rum into the glass

30ml of Lime Juice

20ml of the sugar syrup

Top the glass with some ice

Add some mint and lime wedges, however many makes your heart sing

And, top with soda.

Give it a bit of stir and get ready to drink!

To make this into a mocktail, just simply don’t add white rum.

Recipe number 2- Strawberry daiquiri:

Into a blender add, 45ml of white rum

30ml of lime juice

30ml sugar syrup

And about 4-6 strawberries with a cup of ice

Blend in the blender and serve!

And again, just simply take out the white rum if you wanted to make mocktails

Recipe number 3- Pina Colada:

Into a blender add, 45ml of white rum

15ml of Malibu Rum

30ml of coconut cream

30ml of coconut syrup

3 chunks of pineapple

60ml pineapple juice

30ml lemon juice

And a cup of ice

Blend in the blender and serve!

Take out the white rum and the malibu rum for a mocktail.

I hope you all find them delicious! Have fun, be safe!

That’s my ramble.

Ruby x
